Laura Argiolas is a London based photographer, currently finishing her studies in photojournalism & Documentary photography at London College of Communication (UAL) her practises focuses on themes of belonging, folklore, and identity with a strong connection to her homeland Sardinia
Drawing on personal and cultural narratives, her work explores the relationship between people and territory, examining how landscapes carry stories that shape collective and cultural identity. She is currently developing a project that investigates energy exploitation in Sardinia, focusing on its negative impact on both the natural environment and the island’s cultural identity. Her work has been exhibited in London as part of group installations at Copeland Gallery and Four Corners Gallery.
