‘Fino a Quando il Vento Muore’ explores Sardinian mythology and the exploitation of the island through energy projects. The work examines the environmental and cultural implications of greenwashing, specifically addressing forms of internal colonialism within Italian politics. Through photography, the project becomes a journey into places shaped and protected by our ancestors — sites that hold deep spiritual value for local communities, which are now under threat — along with the myths and legends tied to them. The work seeks to give voice to folklore as both a subaltern space of struggle and a form of cultural resistance; in doing so, mythology emerges as a guide that invites us to reflect on the ongoing exploitation of Sardinia’s land.
